Pros and Cons

 

Pros:
It is better pollution wise than oil and other fossil fuels.
It produces less greenhouse gases.
There is relatively low cost to operate it.
There is enough power for both city and industrial needs.
It is known, developed tech that can be sold on the market.

Cons:
High construction costs
Long construction time
Unknown risks
Target for terrorist attack
Waste lasts 200-500 years.
